Artificial intelligence is growing fast. Many people talk about AGI, a system as smart as a human. We are not there yet.
Today’s AI is narrow. One model translates text. Another finds objects in images. Another predicts customer behavior. Each tool is strong in one job, and that’s all.
The next big step is not one super mind. It is many small agents that work together. Each agent is a specialist.
For example, in security:
One agent watches network traffic.
One checks strange files.
One blocks attacks and fixes settings.
Together they handle problems that are too big for one tool.
Similar teams will work in many areas, not only security. They will connect tools, share data, and act faster than people.
These systems will still not think like humans. They will not understand life or meaning. But they will protect our systems better and do more useful work. This age of cooperating agents will come before real AGI.
